About the Artist

Baja Betty's paintings, murals, and artwork are the creation of 33 (Ben Brough), an artist with varied talents who stays true to his inspirations. Born on the mainland USA and raised in the abundance of jungle creativity on Hawaii's Big Island. First inspired by his grandfather, Tiraz the famous portaitist of the late 40's and now his inspiration comes from the artists of Dada movement, MR Philippe Hortala, Rock 'n Roll and Resh Air.

33 paints the playful side of life, using colors representing hedonistic blur.

First traveling the globe at the age of 15 by way of professional surfing, Ben saw the world first hand from the Pacific Isles to the European Shores to Mexican Nightlife, and his paintings reflect a world of enjoyment.
